A short introduction:
This site is a tribute to Dr. José Rizal, the National hero of the Philippines.
Dr José Rizal inspired the Philippine Revolution and was executed by firing squad on December 30th, 1896 at the age of thirty-five, for his works that led his country to Independence from Spain on June 12th, 1898.
The Order of the Knights of Rizal was established on 30 December 1911 and was granted a legislative charter as a civic and patriotic organization on June 14th, 1951 by Republic Act 646.
Rizal's brilliance is comparable with the greatest men that have ever walked the face of the earth. At once he can be described as one of the greatest botanist, scientist, sculptors, artist, ophthalmologist, zoologist, linguist, engineers,
educators and martyrs of all time.
"Dr Rizal's greatness-his genius and supreme love of country - is source of inspiration for all mankind. To be identified with this great man is an honor and privilege that all Filipinos share."
