Help for Handicapped and deformed Children
The council of the London Chapter of the Knights of Rizal agreed yesterday to pay for the treatment for the 20 children who need implants, and as such we are sending into a trust fund 100.000 pesos immediately from our funds. This will be an ongoing project to carry on and we are sending children's clothes books and toys as well.´

At a meeting last Wednesday 12th. March 2002 the Board of Trustees of the Knights Orthopedic Trust PGH sat for the first time and it was decided to commence operations on the first of the children whose photos have been seen. This is due to the donations being sent by The Knights of Rizal and Maclariz in London.

Barry Bowman and his trip to the Philippines. Of course he visited the hospital which is funded by the Knights of Rizal. He returned with some dramatic experiences and shocking pictures.
What might be in this package? Well, this are clothes, books and toys. This is Sir Ferdie Lim KR handing over to Lito Bautista the first of 6 crates been sent as donations for these poor children of the Philippine General Hospital Orthopedic Wards.
